Accrington Stanley forum
A new forum has been created for fans of Stanley through the Stanley Elite site. As far as I can see, there is no active site (other than Accy Web) for fans of the club to adopt as their own.
It would be great if we could get this forum up and running during the close season to give the fans a place to share ideas etc on a site for ASFC. It would be nice to hear your views. It may be that you are all happy with the community forum here but we hope there is a facility here for the fans that they have not had before. Pete |
Re: Accrington Stanley forum
problem is Pete, there aren't enough users to go around two or three sites. Most of the users on here use the other parts of the website as well so its as easy to check in here at the same time.
The other side of it is that fans rarely have anything to do with forums that may have a direct connection to the club, for reasons of attempted censorship etc |
Re: Accrington Stanley forum
Two good points there. As we grow and get more clubs the forum section works two ways.
1) A forum for your club and 2) A mixed room for members of all clubs to share ideas, tales, advice etc. It may be that there are not enough users for Stanley at the mo but they will have their section like any other club we get. The club are not moderating the content of the site as that is my responsibility. We hope that any concern or gripes the fans would have would be aired on there in a constructive way to help us work on solutions and build good communication links. It may be that the Accy forum isn't used much at first, but it is there if you want it as we grow. It is another tool for fans if they want to use it. If you have any other suggestions as to what we could do for you or what you would like to see by all means get in touch. There is lots on the site now. Come and have a look. Pete |
