Cookie was on Radio Lancs tonight talking about this lad. Apparently he's not been signed to go straight into the team, but rather to see how he develops with full-time training, etc.

If it all works out then everyone benefits, including Bohan himself. Seems like a good move and one that I hope pays dividends.

Quite a few are older.

Oliver Bierhoff I remember was 24 before he got spotted!

I think this may be too big a step up, and as f19 said, nowadays 22 isn't really classed as a young lad anymore. However, it's a refreshing change to have an inexperienced lad that has a bit of bulk about him, in my opinion it gives him a good base allowing him to train more on his skills instead of juggling with the issue of piling on plenty of muscle. Hope we've found a diamond in the rough!

Disagree, theres been far better players than come to stanley been found late,so yeh never know.;)

If I recall right, Tony Book was in his very late 20s when he first played league footy, VERY LATE 20s.

22 is young enough to be "spotted".
Aw shucks!! I am 60 and I am still waiting to be spotted!!!
