Re: Stanley v Bolton.
No text comm tonight, but I can tell you the Stanley side is pretty strong against a Bolton development team
One or two recognisable names for the visitors - Tom Eaves who used to be at Oldham and Jack Sampson who was at Southend last year. Stanley lead - 8 minutes gone - a chip from a chap by the name of Padraig Amond... |

Re: Stanley v Bolton.
Good game to watch. Adam Dawson was the pick of our forwards after he had a dodgy start, but then impressed with some powerful runs and dynamic shooting. Podge scored a great goal from Hatch's superb cross but should have made it 2 when clean through later. Eckersley and Toto looked good with the latter putting in a more mature performance than of late. When all our subs got going we played some neat, penetrating football at pace, which was good to watch. Encouraging, but we really need a big, athletic and commanding goalie, which we don't seem to have had for a very long time.

Re: Stanley v Bolton.

The biggest disappointment for me tonight was Watson, who looked off the pace and was subbed. Hopefully, he will show more form as time goes on. |
