At the match yesterday I sat next to someone who told me he was one of the players father,
And he proceeded to tell me that Toto had been suspended for a week,
I obviously do not wish to disclose which players father he said he was, as it could get the player into trouble for disclosing info, or indeed he may not have been the players farther, that is why I’m asking if it is true

I’m not referring to the league suspension for the tot up of yeller cards
I’m talking about a the club suspending him for a week which would amount to him being band from the ground & training for a week

I think you have told us more than enough. If it was a player's father, it was very unwise of him to give you that information which may or may not be true. And it was equally unwise of you to reveal your source - it could create problems as you in fact suggest.

Hmmm, Toto has tweeted that he won't be playing any football for a week. Doesn't mean he has been suspended; he might be carrying an injury. I wouldn't pay too much attention to hear-say. It can be easy to pretend to be something you are not; I went to Sligo recently wearing my Stanley training top and was thought to be a member of the coaching staff...I didn't correct them...but I did tell them that Rommy would be a welcome asset to our club :)
