Whichelow and Mingoia
Hi guys,
I write a blog on Watford (In The Wolf's Mouth). I know our two lads haven't been at Stanley for very long, but how would you say they're doing? Mingoia doesn't seem to have featured much - we don't expect anything from him, really. He's not good enough to make up for being four foot tall. Whichelow is more interesting, as he clearly has talent but seems to have a bit of an attitude problem. Have they shown anything in the two games they've been here for? Thanks for any help. |

Only saw the home game last week when Whichelow started and Mingoia came on as sub for 30mins. I was looking forward to watching them but to be honest was disappointed. Whichelow looked quite lively for the first few minutes then faded completely, to the extent that I thought he may get subbed at half time. He lasted another 15 minutes without really contributing. Mingoia came on after about an hour and I thought looked promising, he can obviously play, but physically he may struggle at this level. On the whole if I had to judge on one viewing (which is very harsh) I would suggest they are no better than what we have already at the club, however to be absolutely fair they will need time to settle in. |

Only seen the Lads on Sat, Then fer only part of a game, can't call it that early, all i can say is both showed possibilities in that small time. yeh will have to wait fer a fair assessment in my view.

Must admit I was a little surprised mingola came on with Barnett left on the bench, but cookys decision proved both positive and correct

Re: Whichelow and Mingoia
For anyone that went to Chesterfield, they both came on as subs to make their debut... to be honest they both looked really good, and gave us a real push to draw back level in the game.
