pie girls

its not often we get the chance to praise a new initiative but this one sounds really good to me - just a shame we don't get the food income (unless we have a separate deal with Clayton Park to retail them to the vendor?)

from this saturday the new pie boys and girls will be in the stands at half time selling pies, just like the hot dog dudes at baseball! as far as I know nobody else does this :alright:.

I just hope they are actually £1.50 ...... :hidewall:

Following my nightmare experience with the Chicken Balti, masquerading as Meat and Potato, PIE at the Kassam Stadium last Saturday..this initiative is welcomed with open arms and Alimentary Tract.
Forgetting , for a moment, the demise of Paul Cook and the attendant problems this will bring to all at The Crown, this ray of sunshine is sure to brighten the spirits of all those supporters who look for a bit of sustenance at half time !!.
Bring 'em on !!

Lol I am but a small local supplier I am afraid. It'd take me all year to make enough pies for one game! Lol Clayton park are a great second best though (just don't tell my dad, he works at hollands!) :D

Re: pie girls

it was the 99-00 1st division championship winning season, there used to be a load of non league pics on the kipax site but that bit aint showing anymore. It was a yellow body with blue down the sides, collar and piping - it had the square box type Red Rose Assurance sponsor on it.

If anyone else has one that they are willing to part with for a small amount of cash then I'd be grateful. Its worth nowt in the grand scheme of things but its the only one that I know of that I am missing. :(
