In what role exactly?

Helping buzzer roll the pitch?

Exile on Spencer St 15-01-2013 15:35

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

At least Craney wouldn't need another roller.

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

Razor only . Could help out in middle like above pay as you play only if on beanch half pay.

Craney gone to AFC Telford on deal to end of the season.I'm sure his verve and enthusiasm will keep them up!

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

AFC telford have put craney as the playmaker in the team.
He will do well for them.

Redash 10-02-2013 18:08

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

For the first 3 games he will, then it will be one good performance every 10 games.

Your quite correct, Craney's ability has never been questioned by anybody, including me. It's his application that's the problem.

I would imagine a few lads did in the nightclubs of Accrington. They wouldn't get a game at the Crown either :D

It does, He could be a very good player, Just wasted himself as other fools have done.

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

So your logic is Ian Craney a talented footballer signs for struggling Telford in late Jan, who get relegated which means Ian Craney is now a bad player

Genius

My logic is simple yeh wouldn't know a fact, if it smacked yeh in the kisser.

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

My logic is, Ian Craney is a talented footballer, and if he had pulled his finger out and buckled down to a bit of graft, he could well be playing in the Premier league with Swansea, or the Championship with Huddersfield, and not in the Conference with Telford.

Oh and that's my fact.

DAV007 31-03-2013 12:26

Re: Ray Putterill and Ian Craney

I agree with you, he had the talent but not the professionalism.
I can think of only 2 players more talented in a Stanley shirt in the past 10 years.

Its one of the criticisms of Coleman as a manager, he rarely instilled professionalism in his players largely because he was not himself although he did become more so as we established ourselves in the league.

Your opinion redash is logical unlike cashman who has a record of seeking negativity in every thread
