Beattie

Surely the time has come for leam to grow a set and tell Beattie that his run in the team is over.

He offers us nothing, his legs have gone, and people get dragged all over the place trying to compensate for us in effect being a man down.

The last couple of games have highlighted how bad he is because Gray alongside him has shown him up.

Leam - Beattie is going to get you the sack!

Re: Beattie

For me Beattie offers very little to the team as a player, his movement is very poor, he shows no commitment in the tackling department, his hold up and ball distribution is all too slow, his experience maybe of value in the coaching aspect of the game but Stanley cannot afford such a luxury

Re: Beattie

Got to admit in the Southend game he did track back plenty of times when he lost the ball!

Scores the winning goal to keep us up,and becomes a legend !!,the writings on the wall.
Always said he's not a great goal scorer, but a scorer of great goals KTF

Re: Beattie

Well Leam it's either you or Beattie, the man is a disaster and BE WARNED -- HE WILL GET YOU THE SACK his legs have gone and defenders are having a field day playing against him.
I agree with other comments about Stanley playing with what is no more than a 10 man team, PLEASE PLEASE try playing Gray and Amond up front together as at least they will be mobile enough to worry the opposition.

From my perspective, appalling that club haven't thought it worthwhile letting supporters know about Bohan's loan which must have been sorted on Thurs/Fri last week.

Must take all of 5 mins to type out a couple of sentences.

There's been 3 days since the Exeter game. No excuse.

Seriously ? Drive back from Exeter, arrive back at some ungodly hour Saturday morning, Zonked out Saturday, day off Sunday, first day back today catch up time.

I have no doubt that if Messi had signed yesterday they might have found time to announce it, but lets be fair here, it's a fringe player going out on loan to a non league club. Is it 4 full time staff at the club these days ?

And score goals? I have an open mind about Gray but not about Podge. He may be mobile but he is a long way from proving himself as a striker.
