What a match, CONGRATULATIONS
 

After attending todays game against Northwich, and what a match, Lets hope we have now turned the corner and can beat Barnet next week (they got beat today in the F.A. Cup by Bath City at home!! and if they can do it - so can we). That match provided a huge boost to my confidence. The whole team played as one, just a fussy referee spoiling the affair.
Congratulations to McEvil on a hat-trick and also to Flitters and Ged for their contributions to the scoreline. Pity Ged's goal can't be shown on T.V. coz it must be worth a shout at Goal of the Month if not season.

KEEP IT UP FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON and we must be in with a shout of at least the play offs. Once again CONGRATULATIONS

We can say if you look at previous matches when Rocky plays well the team play well..........or is it the other way round?

We've been slagging off 4-5-1 for weeks now, so let's also give Coley a bit of credit for changing things round today. Playing Evil up front alongside Paul made a tremendous difference. I know it probably meant that Ian Craney was a little bit out of it on the left, but Evil has such a presence on the field that he frightens defenders to death. Well done to everyone today, you did us proud. Now let's try to do the same against Barnet! Incidentally, I've never been Flitty's greatest fan, but I think he had one of his best ever games in a Stanley shirt today.

How far away did this shot come from, O.O. ?

I was bending down, selling a Draw ticket to a spectator, when I heard a "wummph" followed by an "Oooooh!", and I just managed to turn round in time to see it sailing into the net.

On that basis, my very amateur assessment would place it at 28 + yards when it was struck. I demand an action replay !
