For my tuppence worth I would've thought the last thing we need to do right now is disrupt the team by bringing newbies in - we haven't got time to let anyone settle in - I have full confidence that the players - & manager - we've got can keep us in the league

We've just got a result that has massive implications for OUR survival.Before the Wycombe game, I was going to start a thread along the lines of "Three steps to heaven" .

That was going to state the obvious, like wins against Wycombe, Burton & York would in all probability secure League Two Football....

Step one achieved, yet we still have plant-pots like DAV007 posting absolute garbage.

So I ask a question prior to the match based on the comments of our manager.

It was a genuine question based purely on what the manager had said.

Someone decided to take offence for no good reason.
Someone else decides to take offence because it was deemed negative?
smobile asks me to commit a crime
kitchener talks about humble pie which I have repeatadly said I will glady eat if we stay up, he then goes onto a personal threat of violence
carpon throws his toys out of the pram despite this thread and question appearing long before the match and another forum user (smobile) deciding to bring it up again.

I understood what you were saying Davo,and most points are valid.My only reservation was changing the manager,when in my opinion,it was more to do with injuries/form of the players,rather than the manager.
Make no mistake,Leam knew what the problems were,and gradually addressed them,despite horrendous luck.
We desperately needed experience---Beattie/Jeffers/Wilson/hunt were added.
Imposing figure in centre mid,tried murph and Linganzi has come in.
Needed a solid big c.b.,Atkinson and Hughes were signed,and Aldred (who has been immense) has come in.
One thing we all missed was Accis fighting spirit,and the team has it KTF
