Conference Promotion teams

Mansfield.

What is our record vs Mansfield?

Wrexham
Kidderminster
Newport
Grimsby

My choice would be anyone but Wrexham.

Re: Conference Promotion teams

Not particualrly fussed, seeing as we'll only be playing two games against one of those sides next season as opposed to six against the other three !!!:D

played five, won 3, lost 1 and drawn 1.

Stewards are absolute clowns.

Wrexham or Grimsby for me too, however, I have a soft spot for Kidderminster, the food at Aggborough as I remember, was fantastic. Newport no, believe their fans are not particularly friendly, although I may be maligning them. However, we shall see after the final.

Re: Conference Promotion teams

For those who missed it - Wrexham 2 Kidderminster 1 (first leg)

And Grimsby beat Newport 3-0 in the League game on Saturday .........

My bet is Grimsby, but we'll see .............

Knowing the clowns that run the game these days, it's probably a Sunday evening game at Home Park.

Newport for the new ground to visit please. Although one doesn't envy the stewards and police if it is to be an all Welsh play-off final. :)

They'll be asking the same about Accrington. Should we say it's a short journey to Burnley?

Their ground is ok; it's their fans who can be ...... well, let's say unpleasant.

Not Burnley, that town is a dump.
A short car journey to Liverpool is more attractive.

I've just re-read your post and you are quite correct. Sorry. A short car journey to Liverpool is indeed more attractive. The problems arise once you get near the end of that journey and enter Liverpool. Walton, Norris Green, Toxteth - they make Burnley look like a garden city.:D
