Accyweb prediction league 2012/13 - final table and pointless statisdtics

Right then. The final tables are attached. You already know Ossy Kid is our champion, so what else can I tell you?

78 people played the game this season. 14 of them made a prediction for every game. Of those, I came last (and 28th overall) with a massive 48 points :o, which would have seen me relegated in the real world.

20 people entered only once. This I don’t understand ……. why bother? 7 of them shared last place in the table (72nd equal) with no points. 2 of them topped the percentage league with 100% (see below).

A few people who are sad enough to look on our site when their team is playing us  entered once or twice ….. Tazzydjr, Earwig, Potter and Paz1975 I think fall into this category.

1795 forecasts were made over the season, scoring 2438 points at an average of 1.36 points per prediction. 87 forecasts were spot-on and got the maximum 5 points. Ossy Kid had 10 of these :), Yerself 6, NigeB and Kiwi John 5 each.

Re-ordering the table on average points per prediction, ChrisMuller and Gribbster come equal top with an average of 5 – impressive if they’d entered more than once each :p. The leading people in this table with a half-decent number of entries were Winstanley and UK Cowboy, who each scored 26 points from 13 goes. Amongst the regular players, NigeB was best, getting his 81 points from 44 entries (average 1.84), just ahead of Ossy Kid’s 83 from 46 (1.80).

If Stanley had played in accordance with Wynonie’s forecasts, the end of season record would have been P 46, W 43, D 3, L 0, GF 180, GA 46, Pts 131 :) (assigning 0-0 draws to the 3 games he missed). If they’d followed Valairian, it would have been P 46, W 1 (yesterday), D 0, L 45, GF 70, GA 136, Pts 3 .

Redash forecast 3-1 to the Stanley, please, chaps on 42 occasions. For the first 3 games of the season he went 2-1, and for the recent home game against Wimbledon he went 2-0. We won 3-1 once – Fleetwood away :D.

I apologise profusely if I have used the “he” word inappropriately in any of the above comments!! :o

See you next season .. On Stanley On !!

Cheers for all your efforts, Chimer. So, yet again, it's close but no cigar for me!
