League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Cheltenham Town
Bradford City Northampton Town Burton Albion The games begin tonight, who do you expect to be lifting the play-off trophy? |
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Northampton are the best side ive seen against us.
But its a lottery. |
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
I just don't want Bradford to lift the Trophy, we really would miss their crowds.....
|
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
I really like Cheltenham, they have a strong first 11.
|
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
I would like Cheltenham, They got crap stewards n probably less away fans than the other 3, but doubt very much if it will be them, either Bradford or Northampton i reckon.

Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Im sure Pompey and Bury will make up more than Bradford Crown Grounder.

Or Burton ............. :o :D:D:D |
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
If their luck continues to hold out - then I really think that The Brewers might just surprise everyone and nick it ....on penalties in the Final !.
|
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
I wouldn't want to lose the crowds but I think Bradford might do it
|
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Northampton or Bradford.
I thought Northampton were brilliant against us, so wouldn't be surprised if they manage it. |

Their second goal was offside by a good two yards and as for the penalty for Bradford's first.....their defender must have thought he was playing in goal !!! Full length dive to smother the ball.....he should have seen red and walked for the most blatant case of deliberate handball I've seen in years !!! |
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Bradford to stay down please. Another game where you can jump on the train from Accy and have a good craic. Plus as others have said they line the pockets on the return fixture. :) Hard as it is for me to wish Burton well....hope they don't get Brewer's droop in the second leg!! ;) :)

Bet the football league are pleased about that one, will make for a half decent attendance. Wonder when the last time was that a League 2 team got to Wembley twice in a season

Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
We don't want Bratfud to go up do we? All that lost revenue and all that! Mind you, i wont miss the annual trip to Valley Parade, the place is in a dodgy part of the city, trouble always seems a possibility when we're there.:(

Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13

Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Think we can take the Bradford income out of the budget for next season. Never mind at least we've got Portsmouth!

Good Luck to the Bantams in League One will be a big miss to Clubs like Stanley as they always brought massive followings.
|
Re: League 2 playoffs 2012/13
Disappointing result financially. I blame Burton and their second leg capitulation...how dare they spite us in such a way. ;) Anyways I'm sure Portsmouth will more than compensate the lost income. :)
