Seem to recall jimmy in his time at Stanley, not signing n offered contract n saying there was plenty of time, n then letting it run out?:eek: Have just heard a similar thing happened wi him at Scunny? if this is correct it sounds very mercenary to me, If he does well the snake may just get the same treatment.:D

I read an interview with Brian Laws (Scunthorpe manager) and he said that Jimmy was one that he would like to keep but they hadn't offered him anything at all. Jimmy was advised to have a look around and see what he could get offered, let Scunthorpe know and if they could match it they would and if they couldn't then he was free to go. Nowt mercenary about that from Jimmy Ryan
