Lutel

all the best with Mr Pace at the Butchers....... What a shame for the bloke that he has to play his football there...................

Supposedly, Paul Crichton is on his way from Leigh RMI as the second choice keeper.....

Re: Lutel

Just glad the Lutel situation has been sorted out - him playing at Stanley when he didn't really want to was bound to be unsettling for everyone.
Paul Crichton - isn't he the goalie who was sacked from York City over an 'incident' with their own fans?

Re: Lutel

well he had to go some where :)

just hope that he is happy there and quite possibly stays there.......... however look at what a loan spell has done for flickers his game is 100% better but then again lut is 32 and its a case of can u teach and old dog new tricks...................?????

good luck to him, thats all i really have to say at least he mite get a run at playing full games and score all them goals that he was on about in the observer !!!!!!!!!

Re: Lutel

Crichton's not a bad goalie and would probably not come to Stanley to sit on the bench. Remember he did turn Coley down a couple of weeks ago.

Should we just rename our reserves 'Droylsden FC' ;)

According to confguide.com within the story about Leigh RMI appointing a new manager, there is a piece that says Accrington have made Paul Crichton an offer he could not refuse and is on his way to us. I know this is not on the original thread, but good luck and best wishes to Lutel. Lets all hope that he will come back a committed and more determined player. Or will he go the way of Howson???

Re: Lutel

I can't see him coming back unless there is a long-term injury to Mully or Evil. With Rory back in just over a week's time and Evil (hopefully) filling that roving role behind Mully which he played on Saturday, that leaves Jaggers, Flickers and Lutel all vying for the right midfield place. Only a young, upcoming player like Shaun Tuck would be happy to sit on the bench and wait for his chance.

All i can say is that it would be sad to see lutel leave, he is a great player.

Re: Lutel

i believe he was a great player but i also beleive that we may just be wantingt to hold onto him for sentimental reasons

I agree. He has been a great player, with the emphasis on "has been"
