Really looking forward to it and there'll be a good turn out from our lot. Hopefully it'll be a nice warm, dry day as I've stood out on the away end watching you play Burton before and it took me until the following Tuesday to warm up again.

We'll be coming up for that.

Wouldn't miss it for anything. We're gonna make a week's holiday of it.

We were planning to come up in July but we'll push it back to take in the match as well.

Last time I was at the Crown Ground, Chris Grimshaw and Paul Beck were playing. Happy day.

The fixture gods have been kind. Portsmouth's first away game at our place, then Bury away for us the week after.:)

Let's just hope that the early start doesn't significantly affect the number of Pompey fans travelling up for this game. It was going to be our biggest gate of the year.

Given how many fans they might have who would want to come, and how many tickets they'll actually get, I think this is "win/win" for us .....

They sell their allocation and we get TV money .......

AND we get nationwide coverage (and way, way beyond)

I have no doubt at all Pompey fans could fill our ground on there own, Sky or no Sky, Can remember em coming to Peel Park in the 50s, great set of fans,:):) Macca will probably tell us the gate that day? i reckon they brought around 10.000 up. but then i was young.
