Lost all respect for pompey fans
Reading the pompey forums about our upcoming game i have never read such condescending comments about our club .
The one that annoyed me most was "we will be the biggest game in their history" From what i have seen in friendlies i expect us to turn them over, especially at home . Am i the only one? |

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
we don't play teams from southampton very often, so it must be a big game for us

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
haven't read it, but sounds like the sort of stuff that could bite them on the bum when Stanley give them a football lesson. Have you got copies ready for our matchday dressing room motivational ?

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
You have to remember they where winning the fa cup and playing in Europe not so long ago.
Its takes a humble fan to accept their current status, and sadly humility is in short supply these days. A lot of people are expecting them to win the league comfortably, but I cant see it. Most clubs will see going to Pompey as a big day out and put extra effort in. Their playing squad will have to adapt to having less time of the ball; league 2 seems to be unique in how little time players get to find a pass before they are pressured. |
Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
You wait till that absolute waist of oxygen Westwood (the ****** with the bell) starts ringing his ding a ling all through the game, some fans say he's eccentric but when you have the displeasure up close you'll see (and smell) what a Skate twonk he is. Funny thing is, when he's not making an absolute mug out of himself, he's busy running mummy and daddys antique book shop in Petersfield. I'd personally pay £100 to anybody who liberates that bell off him!

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
Wonder if he has some books about Portsmouth's Glory Days in that antique book shop ? :D

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans

he's not as good as the lads from newcastle and leicester city imho

Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
he got ejected from St Mary's for phishing on the seats, our spineless stewards let him in the next derby and he nearly incised a riot. Most away games he's so bladdered he doesn't even make it out the boozer till the games all but over. Mind you, if I had to go and watch those skate P#icks I'd have to be knocked unconscious first.
On a non Pompey hating note, I've got a good feeling about this coming season my fellow Stanley fans. I think you're going to be very pleasantly surprised by your team and manager this season. Top six is my prediction. |
Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
In the words of the great Brian Clough........
I wouldn't say we are the best club in League 2, but we're in the top one. |
Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
For all those Portsmouth fans that are requiring tickets for this game, we've now got them ready to sell.
Call the club or e-mail [email protected] Extra staff are on standby if required!!:) Cash turnstiles are still planning on the day, for those that prefer that method.:) |
Re: Lost all respect for pompey fans
Don't judge Pompey fans by their message board, people who waste their time on footy boards aren't normal sensible human beings .....
Ummm - errrr - ooops :o |
