Despite your post , I'm anticipating a warm welcome for us up there, ahem!

Better than Dunbavin, but not good enough.another keeper that can't command the box.

I didn't think he was that good, certainly no better than Dunbavin.

Is Nicky Weaver still out of contract and living in the north west?
He is getting on, but he could do a job for a season.
Wages may be a problem, although being out of work when the season has started does help to make wage demands a bit more realistic.

Is Brian Jensen still available since being released by Burnley?
Is it true he is still training with Burnley while looking for another club?

Generally reckoned to be 50, although last season Barnet went down with 51.

Good luck for the rest of the season

I know that when he signed for Dundee last season, he was on a grand a week.
He was promised a bigger contract if they stayed up.
I work with a few Dundee fans, and they thought he was impressive.

You never know, does he still need the money?

No one ever said it was easy. We should know - we're the only side to have been continuously in League Two since 2006

Going down with 51 points was high.
Previously, there has been at least 1 club each season which where either consistently poor on the pitch, financially in a bad way or deducted points.
Last season there where no whipping boys.
The same this season (although you never know).

Even Stanley should be able to scrape that wage together.
Probably the most important player in the team. When Clough signed Shilton he said they started every game with a 1 goal start!!!!

Don't suppose it's any worse than the old Div 3 N&S or old Div 3 and 4 with 2pts for a win. In those good old/ bad old , days then p46 pts46 equalled mid-table obscurity and complete happiness for fans like me! We usually managed to be one of the gits applying for re-election though .:o

I have always said they should never have done away wi the old 3rd N@S, was very much cheaper expense fer smaller clubs, only problem was then only 1 went up. was sick when we finished 2 nd.

Broken in two places, I heard; hope the lad recovers.
Mind you, he does have the skinniest legs of any defender in the football league.

Don't usually agree with Dav007, but I too was going to remind people about Bav's performances at the start of last season and express disbelief at the negative comments after one bad game - but 2 games later I don't need to, do I?
