My Season Ticket ?.

With more pressing matters in the frame at the moment, I hope that it is not out of place for me to ask if anyone can tell me when my Season Ticket will be available for collection ?.
I remember seeing a thread with a few conflicting views being expressed with regard to a 'special' evening being arranged for this purpose, but this thread seems to have into the ether ! .
As I can't see anything on't 'fishy', I expect I'll have to rely on Cashy and Co, for some enlightenment !.
Time is short, so a little bit of accurate information would really be appreciated.

Have I missed the announcement then ??....nothing advertised as far as I can see !..Is there an alternative arrangement for those unable to make Thursday ??....don't fancy leaving it 'til Saturday it's sure to be chaotic for we struggling Septuagenarians !!.
Can't understand why it's been left so late really !.

A bit opaque as you rightly say !!..still of the opinion that the Club might have seen everything surrounding the Season Ticket subject worthy of more publicity though, or is my naivety showing again ??.

On Wednesday 24th July a headline on fishy site said,
"Collection event on 8th August."
The article went on about something or other but if you
clicked on "Full story here >>" then eventually it did
refer to season ticket collection not a charity event!

No offence Joe but surely the Club should be contacting Fans not the other way round, whether that's via direct email, through the press or the Website?

What plans are in place for those who can't make it on Thursday or don't know it is on this Thursday in terms of getting their season tickets?

Re: My Season Ticket ?.

I'm not quite sure what we all expect here - we provide the club with much needed income and assist cash flow over the summer period by paying our season ticket monies in April and then expect some communication from the club letting us know the arrangements for either picking up the tickets or arranging for them to be sent in the post!

Another not so good day in the history of our club today, and in my view, its shabby and unprofessional that the club haven't made sure that every single person who has bought a season ticket is crystal clear on arrangements for getting hold of them.

I'm afraid 'tin pot' springs to mind again.

The new season starts a week on Saturday with a trip to newly promoted Newport, followed by a midweek Capital One Cup tie at Middlesbrough before we entertain Portsmouth here at the Store First Stadium in front of the live Sky Television cameras.

Whenever you try to look at anything from the Club Website archive for whatever reason it chops the rest of the article off.

It looks like it is down to the people who use the forum to spread the word that there is Season Ticket Collection Event this Thursday 8th August if memory serves me correct between 5pm & 8pm.

Not sure if the Manager or Players will be present or what alternative plans are in place if you can't make the Event?

Maybe somebody from the Club can fill in the Blanks?

Or is there any other alternative to the aforementioned ignominy of waiting in a queue in the Club Shop on Saturday ?.
Any ideas ??.

Anyone know what time it finishes? I see someone said it was 8 bells in the original article but I definitely can't remember a time stated in it for ending and I would be touch and go for 8.

If someone could confirm it would be good thanks.

I am not complaining, I realise the constraints the club have to work within and appreciate such an event being put on.

Really looking forward to Saturday and another staying up season with any luck.

Due to unforeseen events at the club we are sadly rather busy

However the collection evening on Thursday will run from 5pm until 8pm.

The gent who may be running late pls PM your details and will sort a solution (Crown pub sounds a plan)

Staff will be on hand all day Friday (at reception) here until late as I believe we have a game on Saturday??

Just need to finalise Saturday's plans, but working on the lines of tickets will be available at the Sportsbar (front door) right up to kick off.

Apologises for not sending multiple letters, we make no excuses, we are trying to cut down on postage costs.

I had the same problem trying to buy online and eventually bought at the shop. After last night it SHOULD be a sell out and to be sure to get on it is a bit worrying if you can't buy a ticket online beforehand.

This is what happens when season tickets are issued only two days before the first match,
I went down this morning to collect my season ticket and they could not find them,
I spoke to Mark Turner who issued me a ticket for tomorrows match and said he will look into the error,

Mark, fully accept doing things that keeps costs down ie not posting out multiple letters, however my plea is to use the website, the local papers, etc and make it clear to people what's going on and why.

Silence isn't a good plan, and the club owe it to the fans to keep us informed in areas like this.

I dont doubt you are rather busy this week - surely there's been enough time in the preceding 3 months to work this one out more effectively

i'm fairly sure that those who pay out £200+ for a season ticket wouldn't mind paying the extra 60p or whatever for a stamp :)

Very rare that postage is not added for tickets for most events, they could just give you the option on the form to post or collect
