I was pleased with this draw - it will be the most high profile game for 3 years.

I would guess it is played on the Wed and the Burton game is moved back?

:) Fantastic Draw for Stanley a most winnable game against the prem new boys, think i'm right in saying this will be there 3rd game of the season to our 6th. Hit the ground running Boys and we'll stuff em,we owe a prem team a beating ;):D

We could probably do without the cup run in our maiden Premier League season, but what happened in 2011 leaves me in two minds. But don't get me wrong - offer any Cardiff fan 17th in the PL instead of the C1 Cup or even the FA Cup and you know which we'd choose.

As others have said above, it will be our development squad most likely - although we're probably coming off a massive loss in front of Sky cameras the previous Sunday so who knows. Maybe Malky will play a strengthened squad for morale purposes....

Looking forward to it anyways. :)

Who should we look out for? Any stand out players you boys can mention?

I only remember it as I was a steward that day and in charge of the main stand I think and we had two of their guys kick off by the main turnstiles once inside the ground. Fun was had by all! :D

Anyway as always a nice warm welcome will be on offer to the genuine cardiff fans (the idiots can stay at home). Looking forward to a good game against prem oppo and hopefully our passage into round 3.

Not quite sure how to take being referred to as a bloke though! :rolleyes:

:eek: Still nothing on the fishy or anywhere else about the cap1 2nd rd tie with Cardiff :confused: ie no DATE for the fixture:( Now we know theres 2 live games and whos been screened ,but last rd there was 3 live games ,so could it be stanley are gona be on the box;):):D
