Sorry for the delay in the announcement, not too much I can say in public but a lot of people had to be consulted.

Wasn't helped by some of the Cardiff admin people being out of the country so e-mail exchanges were at odd times.

Other games in the county plus Sky's selections were all part of the discussions;)

So we are playing on Wednesday and again on Friday. No wonder Wenger and Ferguson have complained about fixture congestion. It will be even worse when we are in Europe.:) Oops - we are now. Playing Cardiff.

Thing is they would never allow a big club to play 2 games so close ,these days anyway!

Wonderful! After I made arrangements to come with the family on Saturday, cancelled them and arranged to come by myself on Friday, and now.....:(:( Maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all to switch the Burton game to the Friday.

Blame "SKY" fer that un mate, If Cardiff were not playing on previous Sunday, The game woulda been on Tuesday, then no problem, sod all woulda changed.;)

Well I may be in minority of one here, but I blame us. I just don't get this love of Friday night football at all, as Saturdays always feel empty to me when we've played the day before. The theory seems to be that we get more on the Crown if we switch, but surely this is more than compensated by the bigger away followings at the week end? Travelling from afar on Friday tea time is always a nightmare with roads clogged up. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old get.
