Attendance

Attendance !!!!
What a wonderful game of football we witnessed yesterday a great advert for league 2.The attendance was a little disappointing probably a lot of people choosing to stay at home and watch on tv,lets just hope the tv broadcast encourages many more people to come to the Store First Stadium and start following Stanley creating some much needed revenue, well done to who was responsible for stocking the shop (LancsDave?)a great effort at short notice.what a team we will become when everyone is fit and learns each others game....Naismith,,,WOW!!!!!!

Commented yesterday afternoon, any neutral watching sky wouldn't think it was a Div2 game, great credit to both teams. Attendance was a bit of a let down i thought.

Thought the atteandance was excellant given the circumstances.

Portsmouth fans told us many times they were briniging thousands, at least 3000 was told to us so many times. They pre-sold less than 500. The last time ASFC kicked off this early on a Saturday (Woking 2005) we had 900 on!!

Given the number of season ticket holders on holiday, early ko live on Sky, thought it was a magnificent (sorry FANtastic) turn out by both sets of fans!!

Not according to fans' forums of the Shrimps or Chesterfield, who thought it was rubbish!
The Chesterfield fans in particular have no doubt that they will annihilate both Stanley and Portsmouth. We shall see.

Ask the snake what odds he's giving on Stanley,I believe he's good at putting bets on in Ireland .

I moved from Accy to the Portmouth area 8 years ago. We were coming up for a holiday so, when the fixtures came out we put back our visit just to take in the match.

Had a great day out with a great, entertaining game. We took my hubby's neice too. It was her first football match and she loved it and can't wait to go again.

Come on you reds.

I think we got a good deal out of who would get the most Portsmouth fans. It was their first away game of the season and a trip to the famous Accy Stanley in the summer was an attractive away day, even though it was tempered by the early kick off. I can't see them travelling in such numbers to other northern fixtures when the winter kicks in.Though maybe they will at the end of the season if it's a vital match.

Don't you believe it, mate.

They are fanatics, especially now that they own there own club.

And I can't wait for January for the return match at Fratton Park.
