It's not clever to boo your team

I may get shouted down about this because I guess I am condemning people for expressing their opinion when that is precisely what I am doing by opening this thread but....
To those that boo the team - if you don't like what you are seeing then don't come to the games; particularly not the away ones. The team are doing their best at the moment but are not getting the rub of the green. When they hear you booing them off the pitch at half time it does nothing to boost their confidence so if you are not going to support them then don't waste your money coming through the turnstiles. Keep quiet by all means and maybe don't applaud them but don't boo them.

Re: It's not clever to boo your team

It was only one or mabe two people but I just feel it needs nipping in the bud. I, like everyone else, was disappointed in the half time scoreline but it just made me mad that a small element felt it necessary to boo. Most of us are staying true to the team and it is those supporters that the team need. I'm hoping not to see that small contingent when we travel to Plymouth.

I didn't notice the booing.Even after the awful first half display,i wouldn't boo our team.We are struggling and need all the support we can get....If anyone wants to boo they can always support Man U from their armchair and boo at the tv like the rest of the plastic mancs

If that's what happened, then it's disgraceful. Whinge in the pub or on here by all means, but you DO NOT boo your club on the field of play if you're a true fan.

of course you should boo your team when they are losing - it is a known fact that this will get more effort out of the players and make them win

83 Stanleyites at the game. They are the diehards. We would like to think that the booing was more about frustration than intent.

If you pay your money you are entitled to boo or cheer as much as you like.

Blindly supporting a rubbish performance is as bad if not worse than booing

Of course you are correct DAV as usual! It is a free country in which we live and any person has a right to express their views.........but my view is this;
A TRUE supporter will NEVER boo their team even when their performances are rubbish!
A TRUE supporter will be there at the end of the last match of a relegation season still singing and cheering on their team!:jimbo:

Now you may think me naive but I simply consider myself to be a TRUE supporter like the large majority of our small but loyal band at Accrington.:alright:
Please, please join us and get totally behind JB and the boys in RED.
ON STANLEY ON:jimbo:
KEEP THE FAITH:jimbo:
