Re: Fsns Friday
Might be worth having a few tickets for sale at a town centre shop ;)
|
Re: Fsns Friday
Good Idea and iniative
Dave hit the nail on the if we want to shift tickets ease of getting them is key If you can get some tickets to me I will shift them at work |
Re: Fsns Friday
Sir Dan of Jewell has worked miracles to get this sorted!!
Need to sort FL tomorrow AM as "local promotion" Tickets can be printed over weekend, will sort as requested!!:) |
Re: Fsns Friday
Good initiative. Well done Dan et al.
The next step for the club is following through on promises and, ultimately, achieving consistency. |
Re: Fsns Friday
Good on yer Dan lad,:)

Re: Fsns Friday
Good move, will need plenty of publicity to make it work both from us fans & the club but hopefully it'll make an good impact on the gate next Friday

Yes or No.... the concept and efforts so far are to be welcomed and applauded.... ( Seldom do we see such positive off-field action as this !.) |
Re: Fsns Friday
Well I did a little trial at work with people today bear in my mind this is real Clarets territory and the feedback was good in the sense of a Tenner for the game and some interest in coming to the game the downside came when I mentioned having to get tickets beforehand for that price.
Potential Customer Feedback? |
Re: Fsns Friday
Can someone make a "poster" that we can print of at home, we can place it in our windows .
|
Re: Fsns Friday
why not make it the same prices on the night....for people who cant get a ticket beforehand (usually work gets in the way during the week)
|
Re: Fsns Friday

Re: Fsns Friday
Another Good Positive out of this is a lot of Social Media working together between Fans &. Club which can have a far bigger impact than any Club database.

Re: Fsns Friday
Whilst I do think the idea is good, I don't understand the premise of charging £3 more on the gate. Surely the convenience factor of being able to pay the same on the gate as getting a ticket would encourage more fans to come on, instead of expecting them to pre-purchase the tickets. The likelihood is that some people will come to pay on the gate expecting to pay £10 but will end up miffed if they are told they have to pay £3 more.

Re: Fsns Friday
I can see both sides to the advance ticket/pay on the gate issue. I guess the reason for advance is to try and get people to commit. If it's piddling down on the night those who were thinking of coming and paying on the gate would probably back out. On the other hand buying tickets in advance in person can be a right pain in the backside.

Re: Fsns Friday
The only side i think worth consideration is trying to attract more through the gate n hopefully they may want to return. peeing people off in the first place don't seem the sensible way to me.;)

Is now a good time to mention the £11 per ticket commision fee :D |
Re: Fsns Friday
to be fair to the club,
if there wasn't an incentive to buy a ticket, then nobody would. Its not as if the game will sell out. How many will the Daggers bring on a Friday night through the Friday afternoon rush hour? 50? I hope they make it on time, not much fun fighting the M25, M1 and M6 on a Friday. |
Re: Fsns Friday
Surely the incentive should be,to attract other fans, who will possibly return when fixtures allow?

Important this week that the Club take the lead and get out and about in Hynburn promoting the game Manager & Players can help take the lead with that. Echo what others have said about about word of mouth we can all do that, printable poster for the game would be good so we can pop em up at work in the car and shops around town but this can't be a one off promotion of the Club it has to be relentless. The Alarm Bells are ringing you can either press snooze and carry on with a slumber or you can bounce up and get on with it. The name of the town adorns the shirts but the town has to know the Club exists. |

Re: Fsns Friday
It's absolutely vital that the team get a good result when schemes like this are run.
This is a chance to get back some of the walk ons who perhaps come when Burnley/ Blackburn are away, who have been put off by recent shoddy performances they have witnessed in Accrington of late. |
Re: Fsns Friday
To attempt to answer some of the very valid points
We have to "agree" our prices in advance with the FL for the season (our principal governing body whose rules and regulations we have to follow) £13 is the lowest we can charge and if we want to charge away fans more than home fans for comparable accomodation we need to seek permission. That permission will be granted on Monday (only delay is a little trip to Devon) We are charging the advance price as part of a "local promotion"to ST holders. We dont want to use the on-line system as it costs us commission and there needs to be a person to download the information. We would prefer to see people in person or talk to they over the phone. We can take payments and allow tickets to be collected on the night. We will of course find solutions were possible to make tickets available at other outlets. We want "solutions" not barriers, promise. However they need to work for "all" I also believe we are close to announcements on all things on the commercial front, but want to get the correct details sorted first please. I also hear that there may also be more important news on the retail front very soon. Looking forward to a "positive" week:cool: |
Re: Fsns Friday
Now that sounds promising to me.;)

Like it.
Might get done under the trades description act when they see our floodlights though. |
Re: Fsns Friday
Feel free to print off and plaster all over. If it's at work, your paper shop or your local takeaway. Let's get the word out and work together to make Friday's game one to remember with three points and a rocking atmosphere at the store first stadium. We will be doing our upmost to promote in many different ways via social media and also in the local area but the help of the whole town, the fans and even the neutrals is what we need to contribute to make an atmosphere to remember and make the night a complete success.

Don't know if it was a one-off but, when I clicked on the link on the Fishy site to open up the poster, and then clicked on the poster, it took me to a site about the Accies.
Unfortunately, this was Hamilton Academicals, not Stanley.:o |
Re: Fsns Friday
Seen on Twitter that some Rovers, Man United & Hull City Fans have already bought tickets.
Would be nice to know from the club later in the week how well this offer has been received. (It will also help with my attempt at this weeks Guess The Gate) ;) |
