Given our record against the Us, 26 optimists, 8 drawmongers and 8 realists is a good demonstration of keeping the faith. No-one went for the scoreless draw, so the max this week was 3 points, going to Accybeme, Bdc, Jaysay, Kiwi John, Nige B, Rosey, Sherry and Tommy McQueen. Rosey predicted a 4 goal thriller, the rest a less exciting 1-1. 17 others collected a bonus point for a clean sheet at one end or the other.

The 3-pointers all moved up the table, Accybeme to 4th (23 pts), KJ to 6th and Bdc and Jaysay to 9th equal. The table cutline moved up to, to 6. PMIG's 0-2 default gained him a point that increased his lead over Val at the top to 3 points (30 plays 27, with Teach 3rd on 24).
