Optimists On The Rise

The Brizzle game seemed to take some of you by surprise :confused: - only 37 entries, of which 6 were defaults. More pragmatic than usual, too - only 16 going for the Stanley win :), 8 against us :mad: and 13 sitting on the fence :rolleyes:. Once again, our leaders were tending to caution, only Sherry and UK Cowboy (by default) from the old Top Ten amongst the optimists. Just 3 max 5 pointers - Div3North, Cashy and Rosey (by default), and 4 points for Chubbyman (who deserves another bonus point for going, really, but that's not in the rules :D).

All this results in Sherry moving up to 3rd and UKC to 6th. AngeB and Teach both picked up a bonus point, so AngeB's lead remains 4, but Sherry is now only a point behind Teach.

A statistical oddity - AccyBeMe has got the result right more than anyone else - 12 times out of 27 :cool: - but has never got the score right :eek:.

So now it's roll on Morecambe - who just know they want to give us 3 points as usual.
