Won't Play At Home During Feb

Now that Accrington have had 2 home league games in a row postponed or not finished due to bad weather, I have admitted defeat and I am working on the principle that Accrington will not play or complete a home match at all during Feb and if they do play it will be a bonus the way things are going.

The pitch at the moment is the best that I have ever seen it half way through a season. That is even after all the rain we have had for the last few weeks.
The abandonement today was PATHETIC.:dummy2:
The pitch was standing up really well.
May I refer you to revisit the Morecambe match thread and read the comments posted.

So Somerset and Morecambe both have retards?

Can someone explain why Somerset is getting all this dog's abuse? Seems a bit over the top, unless, at the risk of also being regarded as a retard, I'm missing something.

Possibly the opening post? Though i view it as banter not abuse, still yer entitled to yer opinion same as everyone.

I'd just like to know what Somerset is giving up on ..... is he one of these people trying to watch a game at every ground during the season or something??

That aside, using the word "retard" is not banter in my opinion. Excusable in primary school children, maybe. Otherwise, not.

That's your opinion..... it's only banter,Somerset isn't posting a complaint about a bit of banter....pour yourself a glass of wine and chill out for Gods sake.

Might be the case, only 2 home games left (currently) in Feb, both within 4 days of each other. Who knows how long this dismal weather is going to go on for? Or how soft/gullible the ref might be again :D

Unlikely both off tho, the pitch is looking superb considering how late in the season it is. 3 years ago looked more like a ploughed field!

Only missed Plymouth and Newport this season but haven't yet seen a better truer pitch than Stanleys ......and watching the FL Show there were a lot worse pitches than Stanleys and none were abandoned.Even the ref got carried away at half time with how good it was judging by the long play he had rolling and kicking the ball about.

Somerset can relax. Just got back from the youth team's emphatic win over Bristol City and can inform him the the pitch was just about perfect.

Barring a seven o'clock deluge there won't be a problem a week on Friday against Scunny.
