Beattie

Spotted on the Oxford United Forum that JB is in the frame for the managers job and appears to be a popular opinion with some of the fans. Anybody heard anything?

Obviously a lot of Oxford fans have heard a lot of gossip, generated by football's friends in the gambling industry.

There's a mention of it in the Telegraph, can't see it happening - Beatts has started something at Stanley & I would bet that he wants to see it through

Re: Beattie

Dear Oxford chairman,
please take James Beattie to be your manager and make sure you pay Stanley lots of dosh in compensation.
While your shopping at the store first stadium, feel free to pick up one of our midfielders called Luke Joyce, he would be a great addition to your team.
And why not spend a few quid at lanc daves shop on some quality merchandise.

your shopping list should be
1. beattie
2. joyce.
3 the bar scarf
4. the new home shirt

enjoy your shopping experience at stanley.

Regards,
Dav007

p.s. are you friendly with the Southport chairman?

No he's a spy from Southport, apparently he's on his way there to lend J C the bus fare to Accrington in case JB decides to go to fresh fields.

If they are doing well, then could you explain HOW?. they are 3rd bottom of league 2 and 3 points, I think, below Stanley. Not too well IMHO
