We played attractive, gutsy football against Chesterfield...and were rewarded with a drop in home support. Still, I hope you're proved right, Exile. After 54 years on the rollercoaster, I remain cynical!

Sort of agree to disagree on this one Steve. I don't think apathy is the main issue, as I keep banging the drum on it :). It's demographics. A large proportion of the population of Hyndburn has little interest in the borough itself, let alone the local football club. Much of it these days is made up of people who don't even know what day it they are so far out of their trees. The people responsible for running the place have no plans and bring no hope to 'big' the place up and bring in prosperity and success, the club and any other business here are flogging a dead horse. Rant over ;)

I'll shut this down, as the last few posts were totally "off thread" and JB is still in charge.:)

however I'll start up another relevant thread to discuss the many points re attendances!:eek:
