We, the undersigned .....

...... Wish to congratulate James Beattie on achieving his UEFA B licence ....... And said James Beattie, Paul Stephenson and Paul Lodge on securing 15th place after a start no-one will ever forget ...... We wish to record that we were always a better side than 4 points from 12 games suggested, as shown by the last 34 ..... We wish to thank all the players in red - signed, loaned or borrowed - for their efforts .... We hope to see many of them back in red next season, and wish 'Bon voyage' to those whose futures lie elsewhere ..... We thank all the back room staff, the Youth team and their coaches, the ground staff, the shop staff, the turnstile staff, and anyone else we may have forgotten .... We believe the future is bright, and Red ...... The team may, at times, have given us a bumpy ride, but life's a bumpy ride ...... Together we are Stanley - and long may it be so!

Thank you one and all ........

:D:D:D

Agreed but at the risk of being shot down - the directors for
making all of the above possible. ;)

and me too, but I think other clubs have also taken note of J. B. achievements and could well be saying goodbye and good luck in the near future

got to be well contented with a season in which I was happy whoever of the squad made the starting line-up. Glad to add my name to 'the undersigned'. Exciting times ahead I feel, despite resources continuing to require over achievement at Accrington Stanley.

Great season. With our support Beattie has done us proud. Long May it continue.

Re: We, the undersigned .....

I'm a bit late in posting, but I can only echo the sentiments of previous posters.

To finish 15th after the horrendous start that we had, is an achievement all involved can be immensely proud of.:D

To continually confound our critics and scoff at all the doubters, should give the Chairman, board of directors, all the staff at the club, our fans and most importantly all the players and our magnificent management team a great inner warmth of satisfaction.:D

My special salutation goes to James Beattie. Whilst he may still be classed as a "rookie" to some, to have the strength of mind and character to not only mastermind our continued survival in a tough, tough season, but to pass an exam in twelve weeks which takes others twelve months to complete, shows qualities that will, in time, be sought after and envied by other prospective employers.:(

I hope that Mr Marsden and the board recognize these qualities and reward James and all his management team with extended contracts.

The gamble to appoint Beatts has paid off. He's laid some solid foundations that need building on.

Last season was very reminiscent of our first back in the league under Coley. Initial struggle followed by very determined fight to reach safety. With continued backing, I can see Beattie getting us up towards the higher reaches of League two and even beyond.:D
