Accrington Stanley director Philip Carruthers lives next door to the Estadio do Maracana, or in the same city at least, has watched England play Brazil there in the past.

Any Stanley supporters going?

Went out to Portugal for Euro 2004 with my brother Mick, amazing atmosphere and notably not a spot of bother, despite the British media trying to report the smallest bar room disagreement as a hundred strong hooligan riot.

Would be great to see some Accrington flags?

I'd love to see an England/Stanley flag at an England match! We see smaller clubs than ours with their names on the cross but so far no luck! Can anyone remember the Clayton Le Moors flag often seen at Rovers games? I think i saw it at Euro 2004 when we played Portugal?

Yeah, Pasc Forte and Pete Garraghty from Clayton used to go to all the major touraments from Italia 90 onwards and the flag was a regular sight.

They are also big rovers fans and used to take it away in Europe with them. Not used much for that purpose though.

Think I last saw it away at Trelleborgs :D

Diego is going to be studying in Liverpool from September and hopes to get to a few matches next season.
