TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Hi folks,
Signed your former loanee this afternoon, just wanted to see if you had any thoughts on him? Disappointed not to sign him permanently yourselves or a lucky escape for you? Cheers. |
Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
The latter.

Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Neither.
He's playing in League 2 so I don't know that anyone should expect much. Goal scorers are like gold-dust in League 2 and it doesn't take long before any good ones are poached by bigger clubs. He seems a nice lad and will do a job for you. Just so long as he puts in a poor shift against Stanley. |
Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Certainly aint a frequent goalscorer, which fer me is a strikers primary job? but played right, will do a good job in assists.:)

Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Frustrating player for me,one of the strongest and fastest players in the league, but was very inconsistent.
He's a better player than his goal scoring record suggests, but a lot of the time leaves it on the training pitch |
Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Fastest? Really?

Re: TRFC in peace - Kayode Odejayi views?
Has the potential to be an explosive forward but that potential may have passed him by now. Poor positional sense, gets caught by referees for his physical side and because of the first point struggles for goals. Nice chap, like.

The comments on Radio Sheffield when he was at Barnsley suggested that his clinicalness did not match their fans' expectations. He was a handful for defenders when I saw him at Stanley but I heard and read similar views from Stanley fans.
