Re: new keeper on loan

Getting Betts on loan last season was a bit of a lifesaver and if Joe does as well that will be great. But the loan system isn't half hard on No 2 keepers - months of benchwarming and splinter-gathering waiting for something to happen to the No 1, then it happens, get half a game, maybe a game and a half, and whoosh in comes a loanee ........

this signing is good news, just need a few midfielders, striker and wingers and we will be on our way to league 1

Re: new keeper on loan

well,
i thought Lumley did ok, just lacked game experience and was error prone which might have been due to his lack of game time.
I hope he goes onto have a good career.

Come on, Cashy. I know we had a laugh together at DAV007's expense at Boro when his error probably gifted them their goal, but you can't deny his absolutely brilliant display in the second half when he performed miracles in keeping Boro at bay. Unbelievable doesn't even do it justice!

Oh aye, he was a great shot stopper, no doubt, but would get off his line as often as Bader could.:D

Not an L, the snobs in Southport voted a while ago to abandon their L post codes and go for Google Page Ranking instead.

I would just like to thank Joe Lumley for doing a great job for us in the last few matches. Good luck to you Joe I hope it goes well for you!:do-one:

The new lad sounds like a good prospect too, at 6 feet 8 inches tall! Good luck also then to Aaron Chapman as he starts his loan spell with us.:mosher:
