Date TBC. Has to be played before 9th September according to dates for the First Round.

Lancashire FA Senior Cup | Fixtures

Last time in the early rounds was away and was a behind closed doors affair at their place with Jamo in goal. :) We also met them in the final at the Lancs FA ground t'other year.

Obviously ressies but managed to coerce a few on when we played Liverpool in the same competition. :)

Me too - didn't they play Bebe and he got subbed early on ??

Remember liking the look of their keeper Sam Johnstone - been on loan all over the shop since.

LVG might put his full team out after last night :D

Does anybody take it seriously ? It's a reserves/development squad cup, it is a great looking trophy though :)

Should be a good game this one.

A nice chance for Simpson, Bowerman, Hatfield and Mccarten etc to get some game time.

The two players named in the article will be on International Duty if fit won't they? I can't see them being allowed to play on Tuesday with their games on Friday.

Yes that's former midfielder Anthony Barry.... aparently out of favour at Forest Green.

Also former loanee Craig Roddan (who never made an appearance) plays.

One of Coley's signings before we were promoted to the FL. Used to think he was a very good player. Went to Yeovil, I think.

Noticed we have a Durnin on the bench? I'm presuming it may be a young relation of the great John of bygone days and that we aren't dusting the senior version off for a game!!!

The equalizer to make it 2-2, Can honestly say i have NEVER seen a more offside goal in me life, at least 4/5 ft offside. overall a very good game to watch, Stanley just lost their composure/discipline last 15 mins, no mistake united were a class side, no disgrace to go out to em.:) Just read Dan says united beat the offside trap, bollocks twas the Ref n Liner that beat it.

One of my former favorite players good game tonight made us tick never put a pass astray tired visibly and was subbed late on we wer,nt the same side then but a good game to watch enjoyed it well worth a fiver. Rhodden did alright, Moly played left back good game and young Goulding at centre half looks a good prospect.

Man Utd had a player come on as sub named Grimshaw which probably rings a few bells too :)

It was close to level, he got the benefit of the doubt and the benefit of his pace

All around me thought it was miles offside. but i bow to a dingles knowledge.:D

Re: lancs senior cup draw

Enjoyed the game and we weren't disgraced, indeed we should have gone 3-2 up when bowman was thro and lobbed the keeper but went just wide.
Played some lovely football on the deck and the goals we conceded were all fixable mistakes and the lads will learn from these.
Barry and Rodden were excellent in controlling the games tempo and Molys deliveries were top draw.
Exciting times ahead with strong competition all over the park !!!

Good game not much between the sides really never a 2-4 score imho if and its a big if,if bowman;s lob had crept in in second half may have been a diffrent story, stanley played well and 679 fans watched a cracking game bring on the Daggers:)

I suspect i was one of those sitting near Cashy, and I and the fellow Mancunian supporters near me said he were a good 2 yards offside. Benefit of the doubt NO! Referees assistant too far behind the run of play. However, I enjoyed the game, well worth the fiver. Though I must say, Man Utd supporters don't half have rose coloured specs on. They got away with too much for me last night, refereeing was poor IMHO. At least 2 Man Utd payers should have been booked, and had that been league 2, would have been.

Maybe, but both Dan and myself were in line, we didn't need the assistant referee :)

Yes some tackles would have been yellow cards in League 2, but it's classed more as a friendly.
