Midfielder Leaves the Shakers by Mutual Consent...

The Club would like to announce that Andy Procter has left the Club today by mutual consent.

From joining the Club in July 2013, Andy made 28 appearances and scored 2 goals.

The Club would like to pass on our thanks and appreciation to Andy for his service to the Shakers in his time at the Club.

Hope he still has his mojo working from when he last played for us. Seems a heck of a long time since that cannonball shot he unleashed at Stockport in front of the packed home kop. Bursting down the middle and letting fly from distance he nearly broke the net! Just what we have been missing for ages. Save your passion for tackles rather than berating the ref, Andy, and all will be fine.

Sure his contract is up next June. If so, he'd walk away on a free. I'd be surprised if Procter wasn't the bargaining chip to seal the deal for Kal.

Great news that Andy Procter is back at Stanley. I hope he can get fully match fit quickly as he should be able to provide some of the 'steel' we have missed in midfield since he left us. Like Redraine says we could do with a 'confident Procky' smacking the shots in from outside the box and then if the ball doesn't go in the likes of Gray and Hatfield can follow up for rebounds and get some tap ins! Procky should also provide some of the mobility that we need in midfield too.

I dout if hes going Bury even with Proccy coming home!! No wonder Stanley turned down Bury flat for Kal £20k is a bit pittyfull :(

Just the tonic. Absolutely over the moon to see the prodigal son return. Whilst we're on the subject of Proccy screamers one must surely look back to his curler v Macc that ensured survival in the first season back!!

Just what we have been crying out for a Proc/Linganzi type player in CM!

Presuming Beattie will favour the Proc/Joyce combo...Where does this leave Hunt? I just hope Buxton isn't forced out the side to accommodate Hunty!
