Re: Paint Pot cup match thread (Carlisle United)

I travel over 300 mile round trip for a home game and I've done a few this season with more booked. I've done away games that have been up to 1200 mile round trips at plymouth and will be doinng Stevenage soon which is 900 miles round trip. A home game means leaving the house at 7.35 and getting home at 00.30 the next day but do I need any one to applaud/salute me? Do I nowt. I do it for the love of the Stanley, I do it because the club need us, i do it because if we don't no other ****** will and I do it because I can.

Yes it's good to be recognised but that is the least of my worries. We should be proud that we have a team to follow in the league and that should be thanks enough.

I remember James applauding us at Leeds but home games, come the final whistle, it's time for the sports bar.

My support is unconditional but that won't stop me complaining when I feel like it and people may not agree but we all have that right.

Classic chubbyman and cashman,
Say nothing when the team serve up rubbish, shout down other fans when they question the manager, and as usual make daft statements when the team finally win.

Like clockwork!

Fans should always be entitled to question the manager, particularly if the results and performances are not good enough.

No one has called for Beattie to be sacked this season, but some fans with open minds are questioning why the tactics, team selection, personnel and substitutions remain primitive.

We have the first win of the season under our belts, let's hope win number 2 doesn't take 6 league games to achieve.

Dav007 quote
Last season JB by the admission of our chairman had a big budget and wasted it.

Can you provide suitable evidence for this possibly slanderous statement?
