Good goal although there keeper should have got down faster.
Stanley better team, O'Sullivan having lots of success down the right.

The ultras in fine voice.

The joys of the late gate and having to sit down!

What a battle that was. Plymouth look a very strong side and had us hanging on but stalwart defending and great teamwork saw us through. Marvellous support from the Clayton End kept the lads going - we haven't had that level of noise and passion for a long time. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I must give special credit to Deano for today's performance. I haven't been his biggest fan over the years but I thought he was great today. Once again though, Atkinson was MOM for me.

Agree Atkinson again was superb, all defence played ok, Thought after 30 mins our distribution was woeful.:eek: The jurys out fer me wi our new keeper, pleased he kept a clean sheet, should help him i think.

I thought the back four & keeper did very well today, Naismith & O'Sullivan had good games too. It was a battle, but the lads responded well. The atmosphere was better and JC & Jimmy got a good welcome - good to see their passion rubbing off on the players too.

Up to the dizzy heights of 16th now!

6 points above the relegation places :)

And only 2 points off the play off spots...

GREAT WIN AND 3 POINTS EARNED ......'THE HARD WAY!':mosher:

I thought that we played well in the first half and deserved our one goal lead.:alright:
However, the second half was a different story......
Some BBC match Stats;
Possession;
Stanley 41% - Plymouth 59%
Corners;
Stanley 2 - Plymouth 15 !!!

We jut couldn't get the ball off their midfield in the second half and when we did get it we kept giving it back to them or gave them a throw in!:(
Our defence was resolute though and all played really well especially against the big lad up front!:do-one:
We could have won it though late on when a header by O'Sullivan was saved by the keeper with his trailing foot!:mad::s_tongue:

It was fabulous to see THE ULTRAS GETTING BACK TO NORMAL WITH A SUPER SHOW OF FLAGS AND SINGING HEARTILY THROUGHOUT THE MATCH.:cheers::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

WE COULD ALL SEE WHAT THE SUPPORT MEANT TO THE PLAYERS AND TO COLEY AND JIMMY AT THE END OF THE MATCH WHEN THEY SHOWED THEIR APPRECIATION IN FRONT OF THE CLAYTON END!!!:mosher::thumbsup::thumbsup::love::Banane48:
KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK ULTRAS !!!:mosher:
ON STANLEY ON :wave8::wave8::theband:

Well said good to be a bit more cramped in our usual place behind nets keep winning at home and sure enough those gates will creep up well done Stanley 3pts at home every time anything away is a bonus roll on Mansfield next Sat.

Very scruffy one nil win, but happy to take that, I think we will come into our own in the away games when there is more space when attacking, roll on mansfield, 2pts off play offs !
