It may be so they can catch an internal flight back to Exeter.

7-00 Friday night kick off.

Re: exeter game

I must admit that I'm pretty annoyed at the change of kick-off time. I won't finish work until 6pm in Manchester, so I'll be lucky if I only miss 15 minutes of the game

I've yet to see an official reason given for this match to start at such an unusual time.

Agree on both points, A stupid kick off time wi no explanation,(Rational or Otherwise) imho It makes no odds to me being retired, but feel sorry fer fans like Whalley Red n others. also certainly will be less walkons.

Had a look through the programme on Saturday & couldn't see anything about discounted prices for this game

Poor idea i think. Most people my age dont even own a football shirt never mind wear it. Should just be a discounted rate regardless, cant see any extra people going with that idea.

Didn't notice that, just saw the inside back page ad for the game which gives the usual prices.
So the offer is only for fans of other clubs who must be wearing their colours & is available for the Clayton End only, a bit like when we tried Fans Friday last season against Dagenham - that is fine if the information is on the posters for the game, if not & it's only in small print in the programme can't see many fans from other clubs even getting to know about it never mind taking advantage of it

Re: exeter game

Just saw it announced on twitter. More ive thought about it the worse idea i think it is. What happens to the stanley fans who dont have a season ticket and dont have a shirt? Some random billy in a southport shirt can turn up and get in cheaper? This wont attract any more support. Who comes up with these ideas?
