We tried it with Torquay and Pompey last year; nice plan but didn't work.

All back in bed after watching the X factor (totally confused)

If the cost are comparable staying down until after the game on Tuesday is a no brainer. Which person/ Pro footballer would not give up a couple of nights at home to play against the mighty Man U. Now if the cost are excessive that's a different story but missing home no way.

You sound like one of these "new men", cricketers for example, who fly home to be at their wives sides when they are giving birth! What a load of rubbish. Good job Captain Cook (no, not that one) came home for the birth of his kids. He would never have had time to do any discovering.
