Antony Barry trained today,so did Seamus ,I never saw Rodden

Ah, yes. Craig Roddan. I had totally forgotten about him. Signed on a short-term deal if I remember rightly.

And the manager's words at the time: “We have to fill a hole in our squad and he fits the bill. I’ve got no problems with playing him if I have to.”

We seem to do quite well with players who "fit the bill" and "tick the right boxes".

This is an interesting new quotation from Coley: “What I will say is that just because a player isn’t playing one week, doesn’t mean he won’t be playing the week after.” It does seem to mean exactly that for James Gray.

Given Stanley's reluctance to put the ball in the net it does seem a little baffling that the first arrival of 2015 is yet another defender. Having said that, I hope he adds something to the squad.
But I also hope that such a defensive 'coming' does not presage a 'going' from the heart of what has been a pretty solid defensive squad.

That's the defence that's conceded 36 league goals, the 4th. highest in the Division?

Obviously nothing needs mending there then.
