Beattie interview on talksport

No mention of why he left Accrington, no mention of Accrington at all.

Is it a slip of the mind or does he want to forget?

Think he's trying to forget a certain someone who was constantly trying to hound him out of job via accyweb :p

Didn't see the interview but, unlike some on here who won't be content until the Stanley squad is reassembled from ten years ago, was it because he prefers not to constantly live in the past?

Maybe he's not allowed to speak about it?

I hope he gets the Gillingham job, so 2 thinks can happen.

1. He will be exposed as a rubbish manager with drab tactics again
2. He will be asked by the press why he left Stanley.

The only strange thing about this is Dav007's obsession with James Beattie rearing it's head again - for someone he didn't like he seems to be following what's happening with James since he left Stanley with an almost stalker-like interest:rolleyes:

He left Stanley because he is a truly wonderful bloke and he knew how much you were pining for your Coley and he just couldn't bear to watch or read about your suffering any longer.

Wonder also if he will be asked about putting his hand in his own pocket, when things were tight? Wonder also if any other manager at Stanley has ever done likewise.

Cant think of many of our managers who where ex premier league footballers who have earned millions.

I don't blame Jb for not wanting to talk about his spell here after the way he was treated.

Good luck James.

It has been said several times on here that someday the truth of it all will be told. For those of us not "in the know" it's like waiting for the Chilcot Report. The difference is that nearly everything about the disastrous decision to go to war is already in the public domain!
