The lads are on a good run n got a Cup Semi Final tomorrow at QEGS 1-00, woulda been nice if they had put more detail on fishy, wouldn't have minded going, but no idea of how to get yon.:( also they won again last friday, woulda also been nice to have had some detail about that? Why do the lads get neglected on the site?:confused:

QEGS pitches were (no promises they still are, last there in 1969) on Lammack Road, off the A6119 (Yew Tree Drive). This link should give you a Google map showing the Old Blacks clubhouse which pretty much marks the spot.

Now on main site, yes Academy can put on their own stories BUT they are only "side stories" not "headlines".

Dan was waiting for the PM training session to finish to "do" the story.

QEGS Lammack playing fields haven't changed since the 70's (apart from a new sports hall on the "all weather". It's private property and school activities will also be taking place every midweek afternoon.

As such we really shouldn't be over encouraging hoards of fans to be turning up. HOWEVER the odd parent, scout and "old fart" I'm sure won't be a problem!!;)

Doubt very much we may get hoards of us turning up mate, They dont turn up in hoards fer the first 11.:D

The lads battled well, Oldham in fairness just deserved it. was very impressed wi our young keeper.:)

A couple of things i noticed today, pre match, the lads warmed up wi quite a few people coaching em. ( Shame no one seems to bother doing wi our first 11) and apart from an error when the Oldham keeper was booked, when in fact the offence was automatic RED, in general they officiated much better than most of the clowns our first teams had this season.
