Diary Of A Season

I've been thinking about all the fundraising schemes that are starting up, and after talking to OASSC Nick i'm thinking about combining all the stanley blog posts that i've done into a kind of 'diary of a season falling in love with stanley' type thing - all proceeds going to the club.

Emma has taken some cracking pictures throughout the year, so hopefully we might be able to create something that will be of interest to some?

I'd be really grateful for any feedback or ideas that any of you might have.

A new post from Saturday is up now - and hopefully we'll be at Carlisle at home and Dagenham away before the season is out.

All the best guys, and thank you for making this year watching Stanley so great for Emma and I.

Mat

Matt, you've got one grumpy old git sat here in Costa, almost filling up. That's one of the most emotive pieces of writing I've ever read. Nick Hornby, eat yet heart out.

As for your idea, go for it, mate!

"Falling in Love with Stanley" - sounds like a great title. Can't wait for the film:cool:.

Second to last chapter done about taking my 11 yr old nephew up to see the Carlisle game.

Last chapter looks like being Dagenham away, then it's down to some serious compiling! Emma has found an awesome publishing programme online, so hopefully we can knock up a little book worthy of you all.

Fingers crossed it might raise a couple of quid for the club

Brilliant stuff as usual, Matt. Just one minor correction - it's the Clayton End, not the Clayton Road End. Looking forward to the book!
