The Official Historian

A pal of mine is trying to contact each League. non-League & Premiership club's 'official historian ' ( his phrase, not mine). Shall I suggest he contacts Phil Slinger ( whose details I no longer have) ? Can you suggest who else if not Phil - and can you suggest any for other clubs? PM me please.

Re: The Official Historian

ASFC don't have an "official" historian.

The last person to undertake the "role" with any endeavour was Phil Terry.

Rob Russell is trying to co-ordinate at lot of records, but having looked at this numerous years ago it's an impossible task, especially the 1970's

Phil Whalley has a Stanley track record which is evidenced by his book on my bookshelf - he's on here under his own name so easily contactable.
