Really sorry to see him leave but I'm glad for him in many ways given the way he's been treated by the management. I just hope he gets back to playing football and enjoying it. A nice lad from a nice family. Good luck, Andrew.

Sad to see him leave after being with the club since a young age... but quite simple didnt look good enough when we have had chance to seem him play!

I am 100% sure he will have a career in football,he's only young and got all the tools to succeed .
He just needs games and being a number two won't allow that.
Watched him play for clitheroe a few times this season and to say he's come on leaps and bounds is an understatement.
Right time to leave for him as it gives him an head start to find a club were game time is more guaranteed .
Nicest lad you wish to meet and has a burning desire to succeed
Wish him all the best

Could you elaborate how he was treated by the management RR?

He did well when Bettinelli got recalled.

Shame the Pompey away game was called off last season, not least for those who travelled down the day before to watch him. News of the waterlogged pitch was followed by news of Bettinelli returning and that was that.

He hasn't been good enough at any point in his young career to be our number - better (supposedly)keepers coming in on loan from prem clubs. Probs best time for him to move and wish him all the best. IMO won't make a football league goalkeeper
