AccyWeb Player of the Season
 

That time again folks, only a handful of games left so please vote on this thread for your Player of the Season, this will be presented along with the Official Supporter's Club's awards in the Sports Bar after the last game v Mansfield.

One vote for one player per person please - just the one category so who's been your favourite this time around?

Voting will stop at midnight on Friday 24th April so plenty of time to get your votes in.

Not in this vote Smudgie, just the one award - supporters club usually do a young player award, I believe the voting slips for theirs are being handed out at the Stevenage game

To clarify to those of you who keep asking; this vote is for the player of the season not the fan of the season.
The fan awards take a slightly different format and run year to year.

Yes, DAV. We would never have known that but for your magnificent elucidation. We would have assumed that "Player of the Season" in the title of the thread did not mean "Player of the Season".

As others have said Piero, Joycey and Rob Atkinson have all had outstanding seasons, but as others have said, for number of games and consistency it has to be Rob Atkinson for me

I'm not sure I'm qualified to vote after only seeing 4 games this season, but given the winner against Pompey and yesterday's performance against Cambridge, I'm going to fight for a spot on the Piero bandwagon anyway.

Entirely expect Pietro to win this and I can't pick fault with that, but for doing the jobs that don't grab the headlines my vote goes to Luke Joyce. In my opinion his performances this season have been some of his best. Well done skip :)

Last day for voting on this folks - doesn't look at this stage like there's much doubt as to who this year's winner will be but could it possibly change if there's a last minute flurry of votes?? Will announce the result tomorrow :)

Thanks to all who took the trouble to vote - was a very easy count up this year & delighted to announce Piero Mingoia as the worthy winner.
The trophy which Giftprint have kindly offered to sponsor will be presented in the Sports Bar after the Mansfield game next week along with the supporter's club awards -see you all there
