Released Players from Other Clubs .

Bolton have just announced 13 to leave at the end of their contracts on June 30th .

Whilst most would be well out of Accy's price range - 2 very good younger players in Ryan Sellers ( full back ) and Chris Lester ( midfield/winger ) would I believe be good signings for Stanley ......... the one and only time I "suggested" a "good signing" was when JC first came back and I suggested a certain Mr O'Sullivan - whatever happened to him I wonder ? lol

I would like to know who is staying. But we all know where the weakness are.

Could Aristote Nsiala at Grimsby be a target Colemans signed him twice before and out of contact this year.

Loved seeing Toto in full rampage. Hope he's enjoying his day at Wembley. Looks like extra time. Grimsby may be able to offer him league football next season.

There were too many times when Toto was a liability because he was too impetuous and unpredictable. How many yellow cards did he get compared to Tom, Rob, Dean and Lloyd?

I think he's a decent player and maybe calmed down a little !!,work a look in my opinion

I'd love to see Toto back, agree there were times he could be his own worse enemy but maybe he's learned to keep his head since then - he certainly had the potential & if he's curbed the unpredictability aspect of his game then why not?

Only 14 yellows in 44 games would suggest to me that he has calmed down

Toto wasn't a bad player, but more trouble than he was worth in my book. Since when did bad apples become good?

Who'd have thought a couple of years ago we would be talking about Sean Whalley and Toto coming back...Not be long before McConvilles name is thrown into the hat!!

Bobby Grant released from Blackpool along with 16 others including David Perkins.

I see Raheem Sterling wants away - he'd fit the Stanley pattern of lightweight strikers who get knocked off the ball too easily .....

Ryan Jennings - the lad from Wigan signed by Accy about 6-7 wks before the end of the season gone , yet never made an appearance has been offered a full time contract at the DW .

Andy Bishop released by Wrexham, expected to be looking for a football league club.

Could he fit in with us if Coley wants to play 1 up top, Can we afford him?

Isn't that what Terry Gornell is for ?

Richard Chaplow released by Millwall, maybe he would like to play for his home town club :)

That's why I asked if he could fit in, If Gornell picks up and injury or suspended...

I wonder what's happening with James Gray, Quite a few Northampton fans loved him, are we looking to offload him as I believe he is one of the higher earners at the club or will he be happy to see his contract out not even being picked for the squad?

In a word 'No' - we never could in the past & things aren't any better now financially, besides wouldn't want us to pay top dollar (which I would expect him to be asking for) for an almost has-been

What about Richard Brodie of Southport not a bad scoring ratio and I think played under Coley before not sure about contract status though ps Steve Evans rated him while both at Crawley.

I think Coley would rather play with 10 men than let Mr Brodie play in any of his teams ?

JC/JB had a few "run in's" with Brodie , played him very little ( brought in Jason Walker on loan from Forest Green to replace him ) and effectively binned him ........ only reason Brodie is still there is that the chairman sacked JC !

That was the reason why I started this thread by mentioning the 2 lads who I rate as genuine prospects , would have something to prove and would probably come cheap ?

Still a long way to go, methinks. Rob, Dean and Lloyd amassed a total of 18 yellows in 100 games.

Ashley Grimes a free agent he liked playing for Coleman and Bell while at Rochdale fits the attacking midfielder bill.
