The Wycombe Way?
Watched the play-off game last night and it said Wycombe played this season wi the smallest squad in league 2, Ainsworth reduced his squad n added some more quality, it seems to have worked pretty well in my view? Give our poxy resources, it may well be worth Stanley trying the same thing. any thoughts on this un?

Re: The Wycombe Way?
A sensible idea Cashy but problems can arise very quickly if they are plagued with a lengthy injury list.

Re: The Wycombe Way?
Wycombe did have a few injuries around jan/Feb and had a bad run, I agree with cashy about quality over quantity but I never had Coleman down as a squad filler, especially as he tends to pick only 2 or 3 systems.

Re: The Wycombe Way?
Nah i dont reckon hes a squad filler, Just think given our resources it can't do any harm trying it out, virtually everything else tried aint been very successful,

Re: The Wycombe Way?
I may be wrong but didn't Wycombe disband there reserves and youth set up .
Presume this generated a bit more cash for the playing squad. Think their loanees have done well which sometimes can go the other way |
Re: The Wycombe Way?
I thought Coleman took this approach in either are 2nd or 3rd season back in the league and it backfired around the Autumn when we had a glut of injuries and had most of the youth team on the bench.

It would be ideal for a 7 a side league.
