I was gutted to hear the news that Luke Joyce won't be with the club anymore. He took a lot of unfair criticism in the years but will be sorely missed.

My next thought turns to who will captain our side next season.

My vote would go to Dean Winnard. Notwithstanding the presence of Andy Procter back in the team I believe Dean shows the most consistency and commands respect from others.

Depending on who comes in I'd think that the captaincy will go back to Proccy with Dean as vice-captain??
Who knows what can happen though - still in shock that Joycey won't be playing for Stanley next season ��

Agree, Proccy for me. Very sad about Joyce leaving, quite impressed by his farewell note on Fishy.

I think it will be Procky but with Coley could be a complete surprise.

Proccy for me if fit,leads by example.
Any news on his injury?,will he be back for pre-season?

does depend on who comes in - Coley seems to maybe separate sheep from goats at age 24 so my guess is that new signings will all be youngsters. Unless Mr Dunn graces a Stanley shirt, I reckon either Proccy, Deano, Piero or maybe a senior keeper.
