Of not featuring a "good news" story like this on the Home page, where everybody will see it - I don't usually go beyond the Home page and the direct links from it, so there I was wondering why the club hadn't acknowledged the OASSC's contribution on the site, when it actually had, but only on an "inside page".

Isn't this a glitch depending on the browser you use, been discussed a few times on here. I just get used to pressing the Home button on the front screen of the website. It works fine on my phone though.
